WARM technology is based on Audio Fingerprinting and Music Recognition technologies. Each song has a unique fingerprint, which we use to identify the moment a song is played on the radio stations we monitor worldwide. Our web application is supported by ACRCloud, a leading audio recognition platform. With their technology, we provide you with detailed information about your songs’ reproduction on radio stations around the world.

How can I upload a song?

After signing up for WARM, log in to your account and go to the "Add Songs" section on the left menu of your Dashboard. You'll see a green button where you can upload a new song using an MP3 file. After signing up to WARM, log in to your account and go to the "Add Songs" section on the left menu of your Dashboard. You'll see a green button where you can upload a new song using an MP3 file or search for the song you want to monitor in our library.

Is a subscription only for one song, or can I upload multiple songs?

Each subscribtion plan comes with a set number of slots you can use to monitor songs, e.g. if you are on a 5 song plan, you have the possibility to monitor up to 5 songs at a time.

You can choose from subscriptions giving you the ability to track up up to 5 / 10 / 25 / 50 / 100 / 250 / 500 songs. Plans run on a monthly or annual billing.

How do I start my free trial?

As soon as you create your account, your are eligible to a Trial subscription of 5 songs for 1 month. You can choose "Add Songs" in the list on your left and start adding!

How do I upgrade to a paid plan?

You can find our plans by clicking "Subscriptions" in the list on your left, or by visiting the Pricing section of our homepage.

You can then choose your plan, add a billing method and address and proceed to checkout.

How do I upgrade or downgrade my current paid plan?

At any time during your subscription, you may opt to upgrade your plan for either more songs, or a longer billing cycle. You may also choose to downgrade your plan, provided that your currently monitored songs do not exceed your new choice's maximum. You can find the option to change your plan by clicking your Account icon at the bottom left corner and then choosing “Subscriptions”. On either option, the system will automatically calculate the cost difference in the new plans and the value of your remaining paid time on your current one and either charge you the difference, or add any remaining value as credit in your account.

Do multiple versions of the same song need various subscriptions?

Yes, if the versions are different, like a remix, they are treated as two songs. An audio fingerprint is created for each song, which is how we track them: Two different audio fingerprints = two monitoring slots within your plan.

How many songs can I have on the Free Trial?

You can track up to 5 songs for 14 days on a free trial.

How do I cancel my subscription?

To cancel subscription renewal, log in and navigate to "My plans" on your Dashboard, just let us know if you need support.

Why can't I see my airplay when I know my song has been played?

There could be several reasons for this:

1) The airplay happened before the song was uploaded to WARM. This is a common reason for newly released songs.

2) The song was uploaded but had not yet been fully processed. It can take our system up to an hour to process after a new song is uploaded.

3) We are not yet monitoring the radio station where it was played. See the list of the stations we monitor in the section called "Radio Stations" on the left menu of your Dashboard. If we are not monitoring a particular radio station and you wish WARM to monitor it, you can request it on that same page or contact us directly on Support to do so.

4) Something went wrong with the detection. Don't hesitate to contact Support and provide details on when and where the airplay happened. Our developers will investigate the case.

How far behind can I see my song's historical data?

If subscribe for 5, 10 or 25 songs, you have 90 days of airplay history available, including the date, time, and location of each play. For tiers from 50/200/500 song we provide access to 360 days of historical data.

Is it possible to see how many radio stations WARM monitors in a certain country?

Yes, it's possible to see how many radio stations WARM monitors in a certain country. On the Dashboard, click 'radio stations .'This will take you to a page where you can search or browse all of the radio stations we monitor. You can filter the stations by those we are currently monitoring , continent, country, and city. This allows you to find the specific information you're looking for easily.

Can I add new radio stations to the WARMS system?

Your input as a user is invaluable to us and has significantly shaped our comprehensive and diverse radio station network. We've introduced a one-click solution for adding new stations to make things even smoother. With over 70,000 stations in our database, you can effortlessly explore and request the addition of relevant stations to our system. Should the station in question not be part of our existing database you can use the type-form on the radios station page to request monitoring,. Expect up to 10 days of processing time as we add new stations in batches when we hit a certain number of requests.

When a track is uploaded to the WARM, will it also show historical data?

When a new song is uploaded to WARM, airplay detection will begin from that date going forward. We can only track airplay from the day a song is uploaded. Therefore, the amount of historical data you can see for a new song depends on when it was uploaded.

I am not able to download my report in a PDF format.

This can be due to several things. Try doing one of the following:

1) Switch to another browser (Safari may experience some difficulties).

2) Switch off the ad blocker.

3) Allow third-party cookies.

Can I edit the song's metadata after it has been uploaded?

Don't worry, we're here to help. If you need to edit the metadata of a song after it was uploaded, we can do that for you. Please contact Support and send the details (artist name/song title/ISRC etc) and we will fix it for you

How does WARM help artists claim royalties on radio plays their music has gotten?

Artists can use WARM to see exactly when and where their music is getting radio played anywhere in the world in real-time. This allows them to fact-check royalty statements/payouts. WARM doesn't actively help artists claim royalties, but it provides detailed documentation of the radio airplay, which is very useful when dealing with Performing Rights Organisations, etc.

Does WARM do radio promotion?

WARM doesn't do radio promotion; WARM helps you improve your radio promotion by providing you with an extensive contact list of radio promoters worldwide. At WARM, we encourage you to contact these specialist directly to improve your radio promotion.
